Most problems on a shrimp farm are problems someone else has already faced. The trouble is that the experience stays in one person's memory and never reaches anyone else. So we opened a community board. ■ What gets discussed here Water quality — dawn DO keeps falling; how many more aerators do I need? How does raw water salinity shift by season in your area? Disease — the hepatopancreas looks like this, could it be AHPND? Has anyone seen these symptoms? Feeding — what feeding rate are you running at this size? How do you adjust when the tray looks like this? Equipment — which aerators are you using? Whose meters last? Business — what FCR and survival did you get this cycle? How do you decide harvest timing? ■ You can attach photos Post pictures of the shrimp, the water colour, the feed tray, the equipment, and you will get far more accurate answers. Hepatopancreas condition and shell state are hard to describe in words — one photo beats ten lines. ■ Readable without logging in Anyone arriving from a search engine can read everything as-is. An account is needed only to post or comment, and you can sign up with email or straight through Kakao or Google. ■ Separated by language Korean, English, Vietnamese and Indonesian users each see only posts written in their own language. You do not have to select anything — the language of your post is detected automatically. ■ A good way to start If it is your first post, a question works better than an introduction. Write down whatever is bothering you most in your pond right now. Once answers arrive, the thread itself becomes material for the next person. If you have already solved something, write up how. One "this happened, I did this, and this was the result" is more useful than ten textbook pages.
